I wanted to "add-a-circuit" for power to the sat radio. I need to better understand how the ground wire "completes" the circuit in vehicles.
I used a unit similar to this. What type of connector is that blue piece? do I just shove the 'hot' line from the sat radio in there and crimp? or does it need an extra piece that fits?
I tested the DC plug I had cut off and found black is the ground. So I think that metal plate right in front of the drivers knees should be a good ground, right?
