You think those would fit the 4R too? It should, but lets hope it will. I dont think anybody will do headers fro the V8 4R as the engine bay looka a bit small for it.

I'm sure it will since that area is the same as the Taco. There is plenty of room for it too.
Also they are selling JBA headers in AUS for Prado 120's so I'm sure it will work.
Mainly, I am interested for the improved flow to quiet down the engine. read this for explaination: http://www.lcool.org/technical/120_series/exhaust/manifold_noise.html

It's actually a minor thing, no one notices... I really don't either unless I listen for it or startup on really cold morns.

This just tells me there is much improvement that can be done w/ the stock headers. Since an engine is basically a giant air pump, I'm sure there are some real-life improvements that can be made.

edit:
If someone sees a 2006 V6, check and see if they redesigned the headers. I'm curious whether that will be one of hte improvements

I have the same issue on my 2007 Prado. The engine is so noisy and sound like there is an air leak. That's beside the ticking thing.

So did you upgrade?

I've got the DT Long Tubes. Didn't do a thing for noise.

Thanks Mike07SE.
Then How the DT is doing?
I am thinking to have it as well.

Otherwise I might get the 09 Tacoma's. I read on PDF here that they change the manifold to a different design to reduce the noise and vibrations.
