View Full Version : Dimensions of cargo area on 5th gen

Hey fellas. New to this forum.
I am looking for info on the rear tray the new 5th gen has and to see if it can be made to fit the FJ.

Any one know where you could pick one of these up too? I can't find any parts website selling any 5th gen part yet.

Here is what i would want to be putting it into:

That might be the way to go or try T4R with the same question.

they do have one there, but it would be a lot more helpful if someone already knew the measurements could post them or kindly walk out to their garage and take the measurement.

thanks jerryj. Love San Antonio. Have a family i am good friends with there and i visit about once a year to go wakeboarding with them at their lake house on LBJ.

Had i not bought the FJ, the trails edition 2010 4Runner would probably be my choice.

I believe the fender 2 fender measurement is 43inches wide, so it might not be able to slide open, i will go check.

Anyone looking to sell their rear tray???

I'm in the process of ordering a TE with that stupid tray (err.... yea).

The dealer is checking into the getting the part to go where the tray goes when it comes out. If they won't take the tray back you have first dibs on mine. Course you'll have to wait ~4 months till it gets delivered. :drink:
