After showing homes to an 82 year old man last week and having him ask me where my navigation was I decided I had prolonged buying a nav unit for far too long.

I decided to go with the Eclipse AVN 5500. It is not the "best" for offroading but it is the best for me for daily driving and very good for my profession which includes showing alot of buyers homes. It also is sirius ready which will be nice and will get rid of my ugly Sirius Starmate which falls off when I go too fast in Mojave and hit some serious dips. It will serve its purpose for the casual offroading I do.

One of the NVTTORA guys had it on the Mojave trip last weekend and we were watching movies in it and it was pretty sweet.

I paid $889 on ebay which seems to be a pretty good price and I will be installing it myself once it arrives.

I'll post pics once it arrives.

Cool, would be good to see the pictures.

I'm kinda biased to Garmin goodies though, but they don't make a headunit AFAIK.

See if you can find some hacks to upload offroad info on the Navi.

Yeah, him and Stephen were watching movies like 300 in it yesterday, and Saturday night! :guitar:
Funny!:rotflmao:
I don't know if I can watch movies in mine, never got around to trying it, mines OEM though.
