Can somebody please help me locate exactly where the relays are for the DRL? I have an 03 4R and picked up the relays for a newer 4R with the DRL?

It is located behind the fuse/junction box below the steering wheel. It is on the backside of the junction box, so you will have to loosen a few nuts and move it forward to gain access.

Let us know how it works out. You might need to put in the DRL bulbs as well. The normal bulbs might not last too long.

Also the DRL relay is a big black one vs a smaller grey one that you have now. It seems you have to replace some fo the wiring and plug the bigger relay directly into the narnass connection. See pic below for what comes out vs what goes in.

Andries,
By the chance do you have or know part number for that patch harness?
I need one, but can't find it any were and my dealer doesn't have it in the system (all Canadian trucks came with DRL, so with big black rellays)

IIRC it is the number of the plastic wrapping in the picture.

81980-35020? It says Flasher Assy, Turn. I hope I can read the numbers right as some of them are not that clear.
I thought you can get patch-harness separately...???

EDIT:
I Googled the number and it shows DRL Flasher. I need patch-harnes from non-DRL flasher.

If anyone converted his non-DRL truck to DRL and have this harness somewhere and willing to part with it, please let me know. Thank you in advance.
