I just purchased a 3.25" front and 2" rear lift kit. It is 2" under the plate and 1.25" above the top plate. I have read on some posts that 3" is max and on others that 3.5" is max for the fronts. Can someone please confirm if this is possible? By the way, the 2" spacer lift below the top plate is made by Cornfed and the 1.25" lift that goes above the top plate is made by daystar.
Also, would dropping the front differential help at all, or even necessary?
I have a 2004 Runner Sport Edition V8 4x4...i am aware of my xreas and dont mind removing it if i have to. someone please help!

you'll be fine with the spacers you listed. your stock coils will settle a little anyway in about a month or so, so don't worry about having too much up front.
From what others have said, the front diff drop kit is kind of a waste of time because it doesn't really drop it, it just kind of re-angles it. ...don't bother IMO.
You can keep the XREAS with the spacers and they'll be fine. ...eventually, just like everyone else so far, you'll probably want to upgrade and rip the whole thing out and put in some OME's or coilovers.
...welcome to the forum:)

What is the actual thickness of the spacers fro the front you were given? Not the lift they will give, but when you measure the sapcer itself.
3 1/4" front lift is no issue. Most OME /Coilover lifts end up in that area anyhow. I'm just concerned about mixing and matching different spacer lifts.

I havent actually measured the spacers...i just know that the manufacturer says 2" and 1.25" if it really is a problem i can technically just order a 1" corfed spacer to have a complete 3" cornfed lift. but the only problem i have with that is that i purchased this entire setup for $75 (Front and rear brand new never installed). to order the 1" of extra lift would cost almost double what i paid for everything. i'll measure it up and let you know though wen i get a chance...thanks for the fast replies guys...

It sounds like just a simple mix of the Daystar and Cornfed spacers. I wouldn't waste your money getting the other Cornfed piece. WHen you get them, measure the thickness of each piece. Basic rule of thumb is the thickness of the spacers result in twice the measurement of lift ....for example, to get 3" of lift, your total combined spacer thickness would be 1.5" (for the front).

I did this before I went to the DR's and I didn't have any issues. Of course mine had all ready settled, but I had the Cornfeds in and when it settled i added the small Daystar spacer back in so I actually had 3 pieces in there. It was all i could do to keep the front end up. WHen I installed the DR's, at the initial 2.5" setting, my truck sat about another half inch higher.

My concern is more related to the total thickness of the combined spacers. It is simple and cheap to check vs potetial problems down the line.
Your rule of thumb of 2x spacer to actual lift is good enough to check, though as you mentioned it will settle somewhat after time.
