What's the best way to remove scab plates from sliders

I just removed my sliders but I still have the scab plates welded to the frame what's the best way to remove these? I attached some pictures.

Your best bet is probably going to be just grind them down and paint them.

so just a regular angle grinder? Any certain type of grinder plate I should use? Thanks

I'd start with a regular grinding disc to remove most of the metal then switch to a flap disc to clean it up and smooth it out.
