I washed the engine bay and truck a few weeks ago adn ever since then I noticed quite bit of moisture in the headlight on the passenger side. :pissed2:

I'm not sure where the moisture came from, but I can only think from the engine washing (I only use hose pressure, no pressure washer in the engine bay). The headlight is sealed and the bulbs have rubber seals so :confused1

Last night I took out both bulbs and used a hairdryer to dry out the moisture. It worked pretty quick as there is a good airflow when you blow in the one hole and the hot air goes out the other. SO the moisture is gone (remember this trick if you get some in there).

SO I will see what happens going forward if it collects more moisture, as there might be a problem with the headlight seal somewhere then. They look pretty $$$$ to replace and a PITA.

Sorry no pics. :spank:

sounds like your seal around the lens bucket has a leak. Find it and seal it w/ some clear caulk or flexy adhesive

Thx guys. Yeah I want to see if the problem arises again. It is easier said than done to track a leak in this area. The headlight looks to be all sealed up, and removing it looks like a big PITA. So I'm trying to figure out if I just went nuts with the hose somewhere or if it really has a leak. At least it is easier than I thought to get the moisture out.

My GF will really think I'm nuts if I blowdry the 4R every morning :D
