I haven't looked into this further, so I don't know nuthin', but caught this on Pirate & thought it was interesting.

Two possible rear end solutions for the FJ & unintentionally the 4Th Gen. The thread states that Outback Offroad Gears is working on a fully integrated 9" & Curry's working on a high pinion 60. You never know if this will pan out, but then again, you never know.

It seems there are a few companies working on a rar axle for the FJC and Tacos. This would be good as we might just be able to get a bolt in option for the 4RUnner with ABS sensors.

I think all of th eoptions are going to be $$$$ though.
