We all know how that story is gonna end. Might as well let allpro learn the hard way.

Oh no, not again. I think these are tucked a bit more and the exhaust help protect it more then the old V8s did. However the same principal will apply that once it actually gets a hit it will crack the mounting feet on the TC, ending up with the same issues we had.

They should sell it with a couple of QTs of gear oil and some of that metal putty :D

Holy Crapppppppp..........

So I called them and was told "We already have a lot of them out there and have no complaints" "We tested them at The Hammers and they work fine"

Completely unconcerned.

So they'll learn eventually......

Since I'm not a moderator over here, I can say this. They said the same "we have lots of them with no complaints" thing about their bumper to a couple of guys who's front bumpers ripped right off (and flexed into the body) b/c they didn't use anything to mount the bumper besides the two sets of front bolts. They also said the same b.s. "we took it on the hammers". Well, when I saw their rigs in Ouray at the FJ Summit, I looked and they had the same body damage on their FJ's from their bumpers flexing as folks were complaining about.

They are not exactly a quality company. One or two steps up from Trailgear.

Do you guys have a quick link to Joel's issue somewhere on here, so I can pass some factual information on to some folks?

I searched, but didn't see a writeup of the failure.

Guess time will tell.

I do however prefer that vendors take feedback and bake it back into the products. Reminds me of the SW bumpers, where they took a lot of feedback and baked it into the first design. Then took the actual experiences from users and improved it for the 2nd design. Now SW have a really solid product without the flaws the first guys had to work around. This is much more constructive than dismissing valid concerns.

Wonder if they will buy a transfer case if it gets busted because of the skid, like Stubbs did for Joel (Till this day that puts Stubbs much higher on my list of vendor reputation).

However it seems the original pictures are lost, maybe ask Joel if he still has them.

I think the stubbs one got converted into a door stop or ash tray at our old office.

Looks like my pix... I was thinking it would be a good plinking target when bolted to a 4" x 4" wooden beam!
