Hey I was just wondering if anyone has tried to fit a pair of All-pro sliders from like a 2nd or 3rd gen onto a 4th gen and if they would fit. I had a pair of these sliders on a 94 runner and they were great. They welded sraight to the frame which I liked more than bolt-ons:confused: What else are the options for sliders :( Thanks in advance:cool1:

My034runner is using a set of Allpro sliders, not sure for which model it was meant. It is a few inches shorter than ideal though.

Shrockworks sliders are a trail proven option for the 4th gen. They really have the bolt on thing figured out. 3 mounts make a very strong connection to the frame. And they are the correct length so they protect the entire rocker panel.

Yes, I do have the All Pro sliders, and am happy with them. When I ordered them, she (Sarah @ AllPro(manager)) told me that they were for the third gen. But, she knocked off a bunch of $$, so I took them. As Andries stated, they are a few inches shorter than ideal, but they work just fine, and have kept my sheet metal off of the rocks.
However, there are a whole lot more choices now than when I got my034runner.
Richard Stubbs makes some great sliders, as does ShrockWorks, and a couple others.

A friend of mine up in Cincy has a pair of sliders for a 94 runner so im going to try and go pick them up. Gonna be a busy weekend with that and getting a new pistol. Guy said I could have the sliders for $50.00 still in the bubble wrap they were shipped in. Figure at that price even if they kinda fit it's better than what I got on there now=Nothing:cool1:

The 4Runner took a significant change from the 2nd gen to the third gen, and then of course...the 4th gen.

The sliders I got were for the 3rd gen, and really need to be about 5-7" longer. That being said, the 2nd gen will most likely be even shorter when mounted to your 4th gen.

Now, if you have any fabrication skills, you could probably extend them. :sawzall: :welder:
I guess the best thing is to measure them, as well as your frame rails between the wheel wells.
Well, that's my :2cents :2cents :2cents :2cents :2cents
