Shrockworks bullbar update?

A few months ago my wife agreed to buy me a bullbar for my birthday. My birthday is in two days time...I probably end up with socks and underwear :cry:

I love how grown men can easily be turned into 6 year olds when it comes to getting something for their truck. I was like that when I was getting my bumper made. Trying SO hard not to call Jason on a daily basis to see how it was going.

If it takes this long to make the proto, how long is it going to take to produce 15?

Well, IIRC it took about 3 months on the Hanna sliders group buy, and that was after the slider was prototyped. So....patience, Grasshopper :beer: .

Well patience is a virtue that I do not have a lot of :jester: but I would appreciate some semblance of feedback from Shrockworks about the progress of the bar (or even lack thereof!).

Talked to Jim. He expects the rest of the proto in in the next week and a half. To be on the safe side he thinks they made have to make one more proto (add another two weeks) due to the complex nature of this bumper -they may not need to though. There will be pics available when the proto is ready. After the proto looks good he estimates about a month to get 20 ordered and built. So we are looking at around 2 months.

I can't wait to see the proto!

i can't wait to see pics of the prototype! please take as much time as needed to get the bumper built right. that being said, it'd be nice to get an update once in a while to keep those who are antsy satisfied, but to also keep the level of interest and momentum of the shrockworks bumper going for those that are lurking and thinking about buying one. just my $.02.

Quick peek in, can't wait to see the proto. Timing still sounds good for summer to get a bumper.
