Can someone educate me about the sensors for the air bags. Aren't they located in the front bumper area. Will these be relocated to the arb/shockworks units? Any info / ideas?

As far as I know they will not be relocated in either the ARB or the Shrockworks bumper. I really don't think they need to be though. The bumpers are still connected to the frame at the same spots as the stock bumper, so all crush zones will work the same. In the stock bumper the air bag sensors weren't inside the bumper, they are actually mounted right near the radiator. Given that, I don't know if they are accelerometer sensors, or if they expected the stock bumper to crush right into them. Wait for a few more posts, maybe someone is more enlightened than me (almost sure of it!).

I know at least in the 4th gen models thay are decelerometers and will not need to be relocated as Jared states. Most modern cars and trucks no longer use crush zones to trigger the airbags.

On the bumper we are building for the 4th gen you'll never even mess with the sensors. And they are decelorating sensors.
