Okay so after the Hollister Hills trip a few weeks back I finally went ahead and replaced the shock I accidentally leaked fluid out of during my lift install.
Andries generously donated his old shocks to my cause and along with James gave me some instructional pointers on how to not mess it up this time around.

Install went super smooth and I didn't leak any fluid during the shock replacement. With that in mind taking the system off properly and re-installing it at a later time should be a breeze for anyone thinking about saving the system for resale purposes.

The ride is back to normal, I guess... I'm not too sure if it is or not because I can't really gauge it now compared to before. I guess it is firmer now where it used to be a little soft. What I did do is do donuts in both directions in an empty parking lot. I have the same amount of 'lean' on both sides now so I guess I can call it good and not sweat it anymore. what do you guys think?

Thanks Andries again for your old shocks. I should just call it a day... it's only a matter of time before I pull the whole system anyways and upgrade to what the majority on this board are running in their rigs anyways!

Andries and a lot of other folks are either already in, or on their way to Big Bear right now. So, the board is going to be quiet for a few days. Just wanted to let you know.

That's exactly my point. CAREFULLY do uninstall, so when time of resale come swap them back. ;)

It's only about 117 up here in Las Vegas today!
Supposed to be in the mid to high 80's up in Big Bear during the day. I'll be heading up there tomorrow after work to join them!

It's a pleasure, I'm glad it worked out for you. There was a reason why I saved my old shocks. So when you upgrade at some point, save the old shocks so you can donate it to somebody else in need :D
