Is there a supercharger for the 4.0?

Hello everyone. New to the 4th gen owner crowd (2005 4Runner w/ 4.0L) as well as to this board. Very pleased I found it.

Couple of questions here. First, is there a supercharger for the 4.0L v-6? The 1996 I just sold had a s/c in it. Am interested in doing the same to the 4.0L.

Also, what happened to the TRD web site? I remember that it used to have good info on TRD products including superchargers. Now it has a place for superchargers to be clicked on, but no info pulls up. Man, I hate the new web page design.

the short answer is no the last i heard, but urd (http://www.urdusa.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_2&products_id=1260198005) has a supercharger for the 4.0, might want to check them out.

Check with Demello offroad. They have one on their FJC, but I'm not sure what the production schedule will be for it. I believe it is from URD or somewhere.

I saw Jason's FJ at Big Bear, and yes, his is supercharged. :bigok:

Thanks for the input guys. Given the price of the URD, I think I'll wait for TRD to get off its backside. Hopefully next year or so.

http://www.capa.com.au/kits_toyota.htm The prices are $AUS, but still really expensive. They use the Vortech V-2 head unit, which is the same as the V-1 I run on my stang, but w/heli-cut gears to reduce noise.

3rd kit from the top is for the v6.

Also, the 2nd kit down... is that the same 4.7l v8 we have?
