according to the part number it will work on both. It modifies the fuel curve and spark advance to gain extra power. $350 is better than $900.

The Toyota part # 67030 works for the V6 and V8.The company states that there performance chips and SOME modules are 50 state legal.Best to verify if the module carries a C.A.R.B exemption if you live in California :mecry:.All other states should be fine.Some thing for us V6 owners to get some extra ooommpphh.:guns:

On the CARB for CA I would think you could run with the "improved" program for most of the time and switch back to the stock settings if you had to have the truck inspected. I would assume these controllers can save and revert to stock settings if necessary although i haven't read the details.
