My battery died and after I recharged it, the vsc trac and vsc off lights are on. I've done the battery disconnect for 15 min trick and they're still on. Any Ideas why it came on and any other fixes. Everything was fine b4 and it was just sitting in the gargage?

Problem fixed. More info. These lights would only come on when the truck would start moving, no CEL. It would pass the the test when you trun the key on. TSB BR001-04, 0 calibration fixed this. Hopefully this may help someone in the future.

I have this same problem after attaching my scanguage II. Trying to fix it now. Why is disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes a trick to fixing stuff like this? Just curious.

Disco of battery resets a lot of the ECUs. However some calibration information is still kept, but most are reset.

Ok, thanks Andries. Code C1336, 0 calibration fixed it. Looks like I may need a new battery after 6 years. Looking at the diehard platnum marine group 31 as a replacement based on the thread here: http://www.toyota120.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1851&page=4
