Hesitation in 1st gear, while turning.

Almost all the time while starting from rest, and while turning, there is a slight hesitation through first gear. Anyone else notice this? Its a 03 V8. Its more like a very light vibration and I only experience it in 1st gear.

I can't recall noticing that. I will check when I drive again.

Have you checked for driveline binding on the rear driveshaft? Common issue of the clunck, but might be related to your problem.

i do get a clunk sometimes when i come to a stop.

The clunk is a universal problem AFAIK, but I've never experience any hesitation - except in 4lo, but that's just hill-start assist.
