2006 HILUX SURF & 4Runner

Beefed up the plastic and Sequoia-esque grille. It looks pretty good!

Lets see what the 4Runner here will get. Probably all of the changes. THe front looks more and more like the Taco to me.

Definitely more Tacoma influence w/ the grille and headlights (rounded at the bottom of headlight like the taco)
Interesting to see they changed the parts that were first criticized-- more square front end, bigger truck-like grille, rounded out wheelwells.

I usually dont like chrome but I like the chrome grille on silver like the HiLux pic above. I dont think the projector lights will make it here, usually that is saved for Lexus models.

I like most of the styling changes a lot. It is only the rear bumper that looks too fat IMHO.

HDD TV would be cool...while on trails we could all break for lunch, pile into your truck and watch 4x4 Offroad! I trust if you had HDD TV you'd have satellite TV too :rotflmao:

Look at the new power ratings fro the 4Rs. DUe ot the new SAE measurements both the V6 and V8 took a beating. STrange thing is the GX V8 didn't get that much downgraded.

Looks like a nice upgrade, now just time to get some real bumpers for offroad duty. But for normal use it looks more agressively styled.
