Bear Valley Loop
So Joel, Andries "Bulldog" and my self have not wheeled together in at least 6+ years. We had planned on running the Rubicon this week but with the Butte fires and incoming rain and heavy winds we opted for a day trip on Bear Valley Loop. This trail is located near Verdi and Truckee CA.

The trail is narrow due to over growth of bushes so we all enjoyed some fresh pin-stripping. http://i.imgur.com/yzmp4xjl.jpg http://imgur.com/8vh3JRml.jpg http://imgur.com/wbcbU5Vl.jpg http://imgur.com/tyU7jtIl.jpg http://imgur.com/LtkbeT8l.jpg http://imgur.com/xavSpQil.jpg http://imgur.com/GhzYeuJl.jpg http://imgur.com/lsnC08Vl.jpg |

We met in Verdi for a quick fuel up and headed up towards the Bear Valley OHV campsite via Dog Valley Road. On the way we stopped at Sardine Lookout. It's a pretty cool lookout that will be available for rent next year. After a quick beverage and a look around we headed down to the Bear Valley campsite where we had lunch. After lunch we did most of the OHV loop and then headed back out to the 89. Great quick wheeling trip with old friends!
