Default SAW up front... what for the rear?

so i bought a set of SAW 2.0" for the front of my 4runner and i want to get rid of this crappy rough riding spacers and stock shocks. what will be my best bet for the rear? i like the icon rear coils and shocks because they arent too too expensive. would these go well together or at least okay together? what do yall think?
thanks

I'm not a big fan of the Icon 2.0 rear shocks as they are edelbrock shocks that seem not to have a good rep to last for guys who wheel. Many have upgraded or replaced theirs.

But then again you might get a set cheap from other members who upgraded. Check the for sale section to pick up a set to tie you over. So if budget is tight and you can get a used set for a good price........

The rear coils are pretty straight forward as you can get similar coils from many sources, and probably at a much better price too (hint)

The combo will work OK, not as well as a matched suspension, but if budget is what holds you back then just upgrade one piece at a time.

Honestly if budget is tight see if you can get some used shocks for the back, the Icons can be had for a song. The save up to to upgrade later.

okay and i was thinking toytec super flex coils because of price and i was told they will actually be a little bit higher then the icons. i will def. look for used icons.

also andries can you tell me what the medic links are good for? im thinking they are longer then stock so it will provide more flex and better control of a lifted 4runner. is this correct? also where can you get them and how do you install them? thanks

See medic's thread in the member for sale section. Longer links are only really useful for longer rear shocks, where ti will help with flex and also reduce stress on the swaybar.

i would love too.... hahaha but the price is not in my budget. even though thats new stuff and my coilovers are used i cant justify spending that much for the rear. but i would love to have that kit. i still want to take you up on the rear coils when i get the cash. thanks for all your help. i might end up with a full radflo in the future haha
