Extended Warranty

I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on the extended warranty that Toyota offers on the FJ. My regular warranty on my 2014 version expired 3 days ago but the Finance Manager at my dealership swears that he can get me a 5 year extension "after the fact."

It is a Toyota warranty but unless I did not hear him correctly the cost is somewhat over $2000.

Your views and opinions would be greatly appreciated since I have a limited amount of time to act. I have not been driving much so the truck only has 4,500 miles on it now.
