Hello Guys,
I have a 2007 Prado 2.7 2TR-FE 4 with 79,000 kms Just recently the engine has develop a Rough Idling where the rpms goes to 500 and you fill the engine shaking. This only happens sometimes, NOT all the time. The problem is intermittent. I can be driving the car normally, stop at a red light and there is no problem and then I stop at another red light and the rpms goes to 500. I have check in the engine for vacuum lines and all are OK. I don't have any MIL on the instrument cluster neither any OBD code I think my IAC (Idle Control Valve) is getting stock or need to be replaced. Sorry for asking this: Where is located the IAC valve in my 2TR-FE. I think is attached to the Intake valve. Do I need to remove the complete Intake valve to have access to the IAC VALVE Is this is something that I can clean with brake cleaner Is there any DIY here on in youtube? Can you point me to a picture of the IAC valve I need for the engine Thx for your time and help Isaac |
