Default Lift Kit

I would like to install a suspension lift kit on my 2006 4Runner SR5. What mods do I need?

Try the search button at the top of the page. More than that, by your question I can tell you need some basic understanding of suspension. Google is your friend.

Go to Icon, Kings, Radflo, Metal Tech, Daystar websites. You can select your vehicle type, model, year and they will have options.

Understand there is a difference between lift kit and suspension kits.

- Lift kits are basically spacers or brackets that give a cheap efficient lift around 1-2". These are great for looks onroad, and marginal in helping offroad.
- Suspension kits are more expensive and also provide between 1-3" and are often adjustable. These are more suited to those wanting to maximize suspension operation offroad an on.

Mods will be based on what you chose to select in a "kit".

There are too many variables to discuss in this thread so as Mike suggested, search on this forum and use google.

Check out my '05 with front suspension lift, rear 3.5" springs and 1.5" body lift. Body lift was from Bulldog
