You will have to post up when your 7 year old gets her tech license to shame the procrastinators

Shoot Will, i have been procrastinating so long you would have never finished

Seriously though, thanks for the reinforcement. Tonight we learned about units of measurement. She thought it was pretty cute.

1. Amps measure the flow (of the river)
2. (she learned the horseshoe already) Ohms (R)esistance
3. W(h)att is power
4. we came up with Henry Magnet who is an inductor
5. She remembered frequency is hertz and modulation from the earlier analogy.

I'm impressed how well she is picking this up and remembering it. I think the trick is to relate the principles to household electronics and processes.

I bet she'll retain it longer than you. I can't wait to have a little mini me to do things like this with.

Farted a rainbow and this message was sent.

Between this forum and another I am a member of I am going to have to get my HAM license. I think I will what a few weeks until I complete my Masters... Have enough stress with that, don't need to add anything else to study at the moment.

I do have a question about the license and this is just off my head a I am typing so have not looked into it myself yet, but I am going to be moving in July how much of a hassle is it to register or is it just an address update?

You can file for an address change when your ready, not a problem.
