This is awesome business acumen. Based upon my recent experiences, I will only give my future business to offroad vendors that sign up to contractual due dates and penalities for not meeting them. Bravo CBI!

Our goal is to just provide the best buying experience to our customers. We know ourselves how expensive it can be to make purchases for your vehicles to get them to where you want them. We also understand how exciting and fun it is to get the "perfect" setup!
Be assured that we will continue to provide this level of customer service to go along with the best products available! Please email or call us with product questions or for free quotes and information! |

Thanks, pdrunner. So you are aware we will be building front and rear bumpers along with sliders for the JK's. Project should start next week with sliders. One of the owners is actually a Jeep fan so we will be doing his vehicle and we have another local customer who wants the same!
Don't worry though... There are still way more Toyota's in our parking lot! |

Reminder to all that our February Group Buys is coming to an end. Get those orders in by the end of the month to get the 10% discount on 4th gen rear bumper packages and 1st gen Tacoma rear bumpers.
Also some fun pics of a bumper we just built for a local Tundra! Tube style with hidden receiver hitch behind license plate adaptor. |

Steve,
Glad you made it here. I can say that his quality is great and customer service is awesome. Both my bumpers on 4th and 3rd Gen are great and I had positive experience with them. BTW, lead time I had was over 4 weeks, but I have 1st production units of both bumpers. We worked through the build and Steve did matched all my custom requests. He also stands behind his products. You have my support, Steve! ![]() ![]() ![]()

Actually it is slightly improved, but not much. This is maximum you can get for bolt-on. CBI bumper bolts directly to rear cross-member and basically conforms to its shape. By reinforcing it, its become bulletproof from strength perspective. Your stock hitch is bolted under the bumper. CBI version is welded and use a slim design which also increase a departure angle a bit.
Side panels are designed the way to protect rear quarter panels and they do it very well. I was a few times in a situation when my body was saved by having those wings as truck was basically lying on the trees. After that I added my tubular over-fenders which extends to the bumper. The bumper has ability to support the loads applied to those tubes at 2' of a distance (physics M=LxD). Its very strong. The only way to get more is to completely cut the rear cross-member and 4-5"from the frame ends. But this is not going to be a bolt-on bumper any more and there will be no turn back to stock bumper if you decide to sell your truck (unless you will re-weld everything back - big work).
