I'm in for a set too. The ones I have on now suck. Either a direct replacement or something cool would be awesome!

Im not sure how they would work the rears out because half of the rear fender is on the back door and then continues the line on the body of the truck. I know first hand that its split.

I'm in. I want something wider at the bottom, not so much sticking farther out from the truck, but wider as it surrounds the tire. That would eliminate guess work in trimming. Design it to make a big enough gap to fit a fully compressed and inflated 255/80/17 or 255/85/16 with just a 3" suspension lift, no body lift and no rubbing what-so-ever with new inner fenders to polish it off. Something that looks integrated and factory to the truck, not using mounting points as a design feature like so many of Bushwacker's flares..

That's my wish anyway. I'd pay a grand for that.

I would potentially be in for a set of rears.
Again though as Mark explained. We have tried for years to get a positive response back from Bushwacker on a set without luck. Potentially the hinderance for them is the rear flairs and how they incorporate into the lower door trim.

I think that the main thing for the flairs would be tire coverage. however as most of you know, full stuff on larger tires will undoubtedly come in contact with the fender so unless they raise the fender line, I don't think it would be adding much. And if all they end up being is a factory replacment, it is probably not going to gain anything but looks. Now if they did say a 3" pocket flair that bolted in to the outer mounts of the flair leaving the edge being able to be cut out, it might be worth it.

Plus in the front and rear they would have to add another piece to the flair to mount and match on the bumper. All in all the 3 piece rear and 2 piece front is probably another concern that they will have.

Although I think that whoever is near glassworks in socal needs to start pounding on Tim's door to get a set of rear arches made up that incorporate the rear door trim into the molding. That would be the big ticket as they already make a set of front fenders. Only issue would be that glassworks would most likely need a set of flairs and trim pulled from the rear to make molds off of. and potentially the runner itself for however long it would take. And again for the rear you would be dealing with the sheet metal beneath the factory flair needing to be modified.

If Glassworks needs the door trim from the rear door for R&D I could lend mine as it is off now.

I would be interested in factory replacements for more coverage. My front suspension is 4" wider than the back track. Running Total Chaos 2+ and 4" backspacing on TR wheels. Mud and debris all over the mirrors and doors, but that was expected.

Actually was heading that way and then had to turn around and take girlfriend to Urgent Care. Everything is fine with her but no didn't make it to Bushwacker.

Hopefully this next week!

I already posted on t4r, but wanted to put it here too. I'm interested in a set

I don't think the back door would be that much of a problem, they make them for XJs
ZJs and Tahoes

3 gen 4Runner rear bushwackers actually consist of 4 pieces.
Main Flare, Rear Bumper, and 2 pieces for the rear door.

For the front they supplied the main flair and 2 different style front bumper pieces to pick from.

Those pocket style flares look awesome! Although my 4runner "allowance" may be an issue (assuming they're ~$450/set), count me among the interested.
