Completing Lift Problem - need advice

Hey guys, have a conundrum that I'm hoping you guys can help sort out.

I have the King 2.5 Front Coilovers with Adjusters on my rig. I put them on there a while back to level the truck out.

I'm in the process of lifting my rig so I was naturally just going to put the King 2.5 Rear Shocks with Adjusters.

Problem is, King is about 35 weeks out on OEM shocks. I'd preferably get my rig lifted and finished faster than that.

Would you wait for the Kings to match, or what other options would you consider?

Ouch, 35 weeks sounds a bit rough. You can just put in the coils in the rear with the stock shocks, ride quality may not be the best. Typically the travel of the stock shocks is what really limits things with a lift, how much height do you plan to add? Offorad performance will be limited (aka motion will not be as controlled), but may get you by till you get the shocks you really want. On road performance issues may be less notable. Try this and see if you can live with it in the short term.

Or perhaps get a set from another brand that is 2.5" with adjustable settings.

ICON 2.5's with adjusters and resi's. Comparable to King, and when you get the Kings, the ICON's will be easy to sell.

Thanks guys. I ended up just getting the toytec aluma shock to have installed while my kings are built.

Ya 35 weeks will be rough but what a great day it will be when they arrive.

Right on, so my idea, but different shock! Plus, it's good to have those when you take the Kings down for rebuilds.
