Default GX 470 : Is the CV Busted?

Hi
I am getting some really bad noises from the front. First I drove around and recorded a video. Then I figured there was a minor leak in Passenger CV boot and jacked her up and recorded video while turning wheel with hand.

Is this bearing or CV? Will boot change with grease fix it or the CVs busted?

Sounds like one of a few things, a busted bearing on the tripod on the CV or possibly a broken tooth or two on the front ring gear (less likely)

Okay, got it fixed. It was the CV. Go it off a salvage yard vehicle (low miles - 50K) in perfect condition

Glad you got it sorted but you said CV but before you said it was a busted tie rod. Confused???

BTW your lower ball joint rubber bushing looks trashed.
