Finally got around to uploading pics from thane a couple weeks ago.

the first day we ventured up the rubicon from the tahoe side but didn't get real far as the snow was still think and covering the trail.

Then We Hit A Dead End...

what happened was it was a trail maked on our gps' but there was some logging going on and they completely buried the trail and we had to trek through to make it back to the main trail. no vegetation was hurt in the course of this detour!

Thank you, yeah it was a blast! I have to say Fordyce is my favorite trail yet, the scenery is unbelievable and the obstacles are tons of fun and alot of work!

As for the lights, while we were on the bear valley loop at around 10pm we were doing a steep decent and that's when I believe one of the lights came off and fell off the trail. Unfortunately I didn't have the lights on at that moment so I wasn't aware it unscrewed. I discovered it was missing about 45 mins later. So I just unscrewed the other and removed the bulbs. The next day I emailed Dick at www.Off-roadlights.com and I explained the situation and he mailed me out a new housing and lens for his cost. So all and all it wasn't that much money to replace it. Dick has alway provided great customer service and prices, that's why I only give him my business for Offroad lights and such

that is also my favourite of the trip, the shallow depth of field makes it really pop!
