Red Utah dust gets into absolutely everything including the trailer's drum brakes....

My brother in law's Sequoia was recently given a lift with Fox Racing coilovers in front and Toytec springs and Bilstein shocks in the back

I am still finding red dust back from 2010.

Some of that looked really gnarly, especially backing up with a trailer, that's hard enough on a metaled road

The brother in law may want to invest in some sliders

great little video jimbo!

it was neat seeing the trailer in action on the rocks. did you ever use the trailer brakes independently?

This trip really put my trailer hauling skills to the test! There was one rocky section on the way out where some folks in Jeeps started taking pictures of how well the trailer followed the 4Runner's tracks.

It took the potential challenges of this trip to finally get Norm to upgrade his suspension and he was really happy with the results and added capabilities. He is definitely thinking about sliders as well as a full sized roof rack too.

Joshbo! You would have loved this trip. I highly recommend it.

My trailer's brakes are electric and can be activated independently with the Tekonsha controller. None of the terrain was so steep that I had to take advantage of that ability. I have used that trick out in the Inyo mountains to drag the trailer and cause it to straighten out more quickly.
