Default Yet another alignment and tire rub post.

265/65/17 with 1.25'' wheel spacer on stock wheels rubs on the front mud flap when turned only in reverse. Truck is lifted 2.5 inches. No other rubbing, and it drives really well. Still though, surprised that it's making contact. It's hard to imagine it's easy to fit a bigger tire and have it not rub full stuff lock to lock. Anyway, any options before I start cutting? Thanks!

Alignment numbers:

Driver Side:
Camber 0.4
Caster 3.4
Toe 0.04
SAI 12.6
Included Angle 13.0

Passanger Side:
Camber 0.3
Caster 3.9
Toe 0.04
SAI 12.1
Included Angle 12.4

Front:
Cross Camber 0.1
Cross Caster -0.5
Cross SAI 0.4
Total Toe 0.09

Most of the guys here removed the front mud flaps and had to move the front well forward to eliminate rubbing

Those are about factory sized tires, WTF?! Mine never rubbed till I got the 285/70R17's on there. But what Drewm said, the front mud flaps are long gone....

I use the same sized tire on my '07 as I did on my '04, and it rubbed way way way more on the '07.

I trimmed my mudflaps, didn't need to remove the outright.

It's the wheel spacers. They increase the scrub radius, thus increasing your chances of interference.

+1 on wheelspacers. You can see if they can adjust for more caster, which in essence moves the center point of the wheel forward a bit and helps with rubbing on the rear. Does it rub on both sides or just driver side?

Alignment numbers look good. I would ditch the mud flaps or try altering a portion of the flap like Mike did. You can always remove the spacer as well.
