Default Differences between ARB bumper for 03-05 vs 06-09?

I'd like to have a good solid bumper and winch on my '03, but it's likely the frame rot will force a retirement within a few years. I'm wondering if it's possible to move an ARB for an 03-05 to a 06-09 4Runner? What's the differences between those ARB bumpers?

I dont know the answer for sure but I'm giving you the answer I got from the difference between a perkins bumper. Simply the 06-09 bumper has a cut out on the top plate of the bumper where the grill is allowed to close. If you have an 03-05 bumper and put it on a 06 rig, the grill will hit the bumper.

When I bought my bumper they accidentally built an 06 and luckily had a member here swing by and saw their mistake and let me know and so I had them remake a bumper for an 05.

I believe the major differences will be the cutout by the radiator/grille area and the spacing by the center tube. The 06+ has slightly different grille and headlight setup that requires a bit more space on the bumper. SO you will likely be able to trim the bumper if needed. I think the ARB may have enough space in those locations already as it does stick out a bit more than others.

I can't speak to the ARB bumper, but I moved my Shrockworks bumper from an '04 to an '07 and just had to cut out the area already mentioned for the grill.

That trail is about 4miles SW of Yankee Hill in Colorado (not sure of the name but if you venture around Central City you'll find it.) As for the "Gap" on the early 4th gens.
