Default Storage Opinion

So I thought I would try my hand at 3/8" HDPE aND..... I suck. The problem i'm having is that this stuff is way to flexible and expands and contrast in temperatures So, the next one will be made of wood. being my first box attempt I knew it wouldn't be long until it went in the trash. So with that being said, should I keep the same style? If not, what would you change?
