The ride looks awesome! What UCA's are you going with?

Here's a photo of the front coils and the exposed threads...sorry it took so long.

Casper - I'll probably go with Light Racing UCA's

Trik444: How are you liking the ride now that you have had the 2.5s for a while?

Quick report - almost 10,000 miles on the OW's and I love 'em. Feel just as good as the day I bought them.

Did not chop the bodymounts and still maintain a full turning radius with no rubbing.

With the 275/70/18 did you have to trim a lot I imagine for no rubbing?

No. I dremmeled down the front bumper a little bit and cut the plastic inner fender liner. Looking back on ot now, I wish I would have zip tied the liner back instead of cutting. By cutting I exposed the back of the fog light assembly and kick mud/rain up all over them.

No rubbing where the mud flaps use to be? I get minor rubbing on the driver side with my 275/65's...

Sorry folks see thread below:

http://www.toyota120.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22755

Check out MetalTech though. They offer the same OW specked coilovers that Radflo latter adopted on their coilovers. All the thanks goes to Andries & Mark for their work,Research & Development, testing and promoting on this platform in collaboration with Radflo,

Bobby

What ever happened to those guys? They seemed so knowledgeable and helpful. Hopefully they are doing some good business again with whatever they chose to do.

Yeah, we are still around Just had other things come in the way.

I always suggest people contact Radflo for the dealers they use and the ones using the same or similar spec that was originally developed. One of the cool, and not well known things with the high end shocks are that when you rebuild (and even order) you may request a slight modification to the valving to suite your needs better. Not all shops will offer that, as it can be very time consuming, etc.

Since this thread was brought back from the land of dead threads, I've been wondering about STT's. How long did they last you?

Chayos00 - I'm on my 3rd set of Cooper STT's and I refuse to go with a different tire. I drive 25k miles a year and there is minimal road noise even after the treads wear down. I've had my current set for just over 60k miles and there is still about 1/4 inch of tread left...I've been really happy.

Just a quick update on my 4runner since I haven't checked in for over a year...190k miles (about 50k on the current Radflo coilover setup). All is good but the rear bushings are shot. I'm getting them replaced tomorrow so that should get rid of the clanking sound I have been experiencing in the rear. I never bought aftermarket UCA's as I had originally intended...but I'm shocked to find out that, after looking over everything very closely, I don't need to replace any of the UCA/LCA components. The OEM bushings are holding up just fine.
