Not really a trip report, more like fun in the snow with a bit of stupidity. God I love my truck.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Well done! I hope I can get a snow run in this year. That's if snowboarding doesn't get in the way.

Awesome videos guys!!

Pedram, I commented on your vid on youtube! amazing!

Mikey, that looks like too much fun!

Here's a little vid from a snow to dunes run I did on Sunday. Granted it's nowhere near the snow in the other vids, but you have to realize that I can actually see the Oceano Dunes from this road! I went up there with my m416 trailer, filled it with snow and went and made a snowman on the beach at 8 at night.

I saw it.... thanks for the comments. I love the view. To bad you didn't get the high speed shot of you hauling ass down the road. In that case you might bye bye down the edge after losing control.

I like it. Did you know that You Tube now has their own editing software on the site. Just look up "You Tube Video Editor". It's up there on the top next to "My Channel" and "Subscriptions". It's helps cut out crap and you can even add music with the sound still there. You can even adjust the volume either way. Pretty sick.

Try it out.

I used their editor once awhile ago, but it sounds like it's even better now. I'll check it out.

My problem is that sometimes I forget to start and stop and restart it from time to time, so I end up with 15 min. long videos which take forever to upload to youtube just to be cut down. I need a better way to cut them down before and then I can edit them there.

I'll mess around with the youtube editer though. I've got a bunch of footage from SnT and lots from this snowrun.

Nice I like that angle. What were you using as a mount, the suction cup?

I can't wait to see the one with Vinh puking

Yep, mounted it right near the taillight with the suction cup. It's a perfect location for flex shots. I want to explore the rear view now and then. I need to switch it up. I'm also thinking of buying a Mac to edit it better. Youtube is very limited.

I just finally got a new desktop so I can start downloading and messing around with all the videos I have.

I'm making one now from when we went to the snow and then made a snowman on the dunes. My computer has windows live movie maker on it, and I've been using that. So far, I like it and it's pretty user friendly.

It also allows you to add music really easy. I think I'm going to have to find some royalty free music sites. The youtube music sucks, plus you can't have more than 1 song or start and stop the song.

First video editing attempt....using windows live movie maker

I plan on redoing it with some better music and having a mix of music/audio but I had to use the youtube music this time.

Also plan on shortening it quite a bit and adding some still pics I have from the trip (didn't think of that until I already uploaded it to youtube )

Loving the new computer and ability to learn to edit together videos!

Anyways, I edited that last video down again. This time it's shorter, has still photos of the kids playing in the snow, group shots of the vehicles, and has much better music and a variety of music instead of just the same song the whole way.

Anyways, check it out and let me know what you think. Constructive criticism accepted This link isn't HD, but if you want you can go to youtube and watch it in full screen HD if you want
