Just make sure you use high quality bolts to hold the bumper.

Bumper is installed I'll post pics after I wash my truck I have a few questions though. Where can I find grade 10.9 M12x1.25x50 bolts? I have looked everywhere locally and online and the best I can find is grade 8.8 which is apparently only equivalent to a grade 5 standard bolt. Right now it's mounted with a combination of the stock bolts and the ones they sent which are a bit short (maybe 35mm) and only grade 8.8.

The other question is how are people locking their gas cans?

The only way I can see is using some sort of cable lock.

Matt, Congratulations on the CBI! That pic of the gas cans isn't gonna cut it. We need full shots of the bumper and 4runner!

As for the lock for the gas cans, I used a 1/4" trailer coupler lock.

I got a couple of them from etrailer.com and had them keyed all the same. You can also lock the Hi-Lift with one of these locks. They may not stop a thief that's really intent on stealing your stuff but they'll slow him down. They would definitely discourage any "opportunistic" thief that might just be happening by.

It appears with the new style CBI dual gas can holder you don't need to remove the gas can to siphon the gas right out. Has anyone found a solution to prevent this?

Turn the holding plate 180 degrees.
I have this style on my 3rd Gen.

Thanks Dave, that's just what I needed. You were able to lock the Hi-lift with one of these? The shaft doesn't look long enough to pass through the Hi-lift and bumper. The studs that hold up the Hi-lift on my bumper don't have holes drilled in them like the gas can holder stud.

It doesn't go on the stud. It goes through one of the holes on the swing arm and the Hi-Lift jack bar. You'll need a 5/8" washer between the lock and the swing arm.

I need to connect my trailer hitch plug back up. And I've heard a few various ways but the more I mod the more OCD I have become with it. What did y'all do for your trailer hitch plug since the stock Toyota one won't work?

Default install will have a very 'unfinished' look above the bumper when you lift the tailgate. Save the old bumper long enough to cut out a portion to bridge the gap.

I think I have pics attached (<- total newbie)
