The more I see these bumpers, the more I like them. Could any CBI owners chime in if they know how much the receiver hitch is rated to tow?

I did towed twice with the bumper. Once it was 5000lb boat to the lake and another time 7500lb trailer with big sail boat for my friend. Both times I didn't mentioned any movement or other discomfort reactions. Based on my experience and engineering point of view, I'd say it can tow more then distribution hitch and the maximum will be determint by bolts streightness then bumper itself.
I'm not the lab and I didn't done any test, so I can only tell my experience and expectations, but I'm confident in towing capacities of this bumper.

The Group Buy is done, but you can call Steve or Brant at CBI and tell them that you was refered from Toyota120 forum. The price may be different from Group Buy, but they will try to make you a deal.

I did call Steve, I'm having him send me raw materials so I can weld it and paint it myself. Trying to save a buck.
