Default Hitch mount bike rack

Anyone here have a hitch mounted bike rack. I would only need it to carry max 3 bikes. What are some of my options? Thanks for the help.

I just bought one to carry 3 bikes. I went to REI and looked at all they had in the store and settled on this one: http://www.rei.com/product/752319

I got a hitch mounted swing out unit. SO it swigs to the side for easy hatch access. It takes 2 bikes, but you can buy the extension to take an additional 2 bikes. It works really well, as you unlock and swing the rack and bikes out of the way to get to the cargo area.

I think there was a long discussion about this about 2 years ago, so maybe check for some old threads on this.

Also give MTBR a check. They have a car&biker section. Here http://forums.mtbr.com/forumdisplay.php?f=126

I just picked up a Saris Thelma that holds 2 but can hold 3 with extension.

Heres a popular one that is the same as a Thule but half the cost

And here is another option http://www.etrailer.com/Hitch-Bike-R...ck/A30902.html

Like Andries said, check previous threads. I have a GIANT (well that goes without saying ) that carries five bikes. It hinges backwards to provide access to the rear tailgate.

Here's what I use, it's a Yakima product and I absolutely love it. Very heavy duty and sturdy... but not cheap.

I had that Jeep thing... But I went to my local Toyota dealer, bought a 4Runner and it cleared that crap right up.

Thanks guys, I will do some more research and looking into some older threads.

NoWayOut: I am actually a member over there but I figured I would check with the 120 boys first.

I recommend looking at them in person. When I was shopping, what I had picked out on the internet was far less appealing in person.

I have that one with the 2 bike extension and it has been awesome for years. I use it multiple times a week without problem.
