Front Stabilizer Bar 48811-60230 vs. 48811-60240
Does anyone knows what is the difference between front stabilizer bars for 4th Gen 4Runners? There are 2 part numbers exist in the catalog:
- 48811-60230 - 48811-60240 I'm searching online catalogs and web, but struggling to find specs on the bars to see what is the difference between them.

The 4x4 one is thicker than the 2x4 one. The 4-wheel drive swaybar measures 3-15/16" (100mm) circumference . The 2-wheel drive swaybar measures 3-3/4" (95.2mm). I recommend the 4x4 one for the 2x4 application, better handling. And I recommend the 2x4 one for 4x4, better flex. But I don't know which is which by the part #.

Also if you switch to the 29mm (thinner swaybar) that the FJC and 2x4 used you will need the bushings that works with it.

Late Question
I need need new bushings for my swaybar too. Do you know the diameter of the stock V6 4x4? Any advantage to going with poly over rubber?

As far as the bushings check this out. I ran these for a while and they worked great.
