Another awesome UltimateYota event, put together by two equally awesome guys; Chris and Lance.

Was cool to be in a position to help sponsor the event and in that regard thank you so much to all those who supported us (Overland Warehouse) through their purchases, visiting our booth, words of encouragement etc.

I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the Sat afternoon run to the Racetrack and Comp hill was lots a fun. The Tundra was tow champion!

I am looking forward to all the photos - there should be a bunch of fun stuff!

Glad the 120 guys all got home safely, bummer about the three or four trucks that sustained various level of damage but I guess its all part of the pay to play.

Masa and Jon - a special thanks to you guys for keeping me fed. From breakfast to dinner there was always something on the grill. Mind you the force feeding on Sun lunch coulda just about done me for the year on steak sandwiches LOL.

Night time around the fire was very enjoyable too. Great conversation and cool to have some female company (Meaghan) that could carry a conversation into the wee hours! Beats watching pole dancing Sth Africans LOL. Boy it sure got cold at night tho. I froze the first night sleeping in the truck and the second night I had to get up three times and turn on the heater for a while. Dang sea fog!

Thanks everyone.

Moved posts to start the report thread!!

I second Mark's post.

Thx Chris and Lance and all the other folks who organized the event, and allowed us to have a nice launch of Overland Warehouse.

Also thx to Masa, Jon & company for all the good food. Those steaks were awesome!!!!

It was great to meet all the folks face to face from 120. Met Drew, Chip, Vinn (sp?), BT, Josh, Phil, and a few others who escape me at the moment.

I didn't get a chance to take pictures, so I hope you guys have plenty of good shots.

Will post my trip report later.

Todd,

Thank you for starting this Thread...can't wait to see more pictures.

...(2) quick questions if you don't mind...

1) Anyone w/ stock 4Runners show up?

2) Were you able to meet (2) San Francisco folks w/ 1st Generation 4Runners? I think they had a 6" lift w/ 35s or 37s.

I don't know them...I just saw them at Lucky on Sloat friday night. I wanted to talk to them & ask if they were heading to Pismo.

no problem. actually it was Andries haha. he just moved my posts from the info thread

i think there were a few stock ones out there. 4wd guys seems to do pretty well out there stock.

i might have met a coupdl of them. there was at least one with some huge tires. it was grey or silver i believe. no top just a basket on top of the rear cage with half doors. someone can chime in on who that was and whether they might be who you were thinking.

I only remember (1) silver & (1) red 1st Generation. I think both of them had half doors. That's all I can remember.

Nice pic's. The past weekend was a blast, thanks to Chris and Lance. I also want to thank Mark and Andries for all the cool prizes. The new compressor is awesome, WAY better than the noisy and SLOW ARB compressor that I have. Also thanks to Jon And Masa for the great food. It was awesome to meet everyone hope to see you out on other runs.

Great people. I'm glad I ran into you guys a couple months ago @ Hollister. I learned a lot about sand driving. A lot of sweet rigs out there.

@Andries Thanks for the surprise lap dance. Sure woke me up. LoL.

Overall I had a blast. Only thing that sucked was at the end of the trip, I accidentally threw away my truck tent instead of the garbage. Both were in a black garbage bag. That was my 1st time using that tent... and apparently now it was the last.
