Length, strength and to get full travel out of my 10" bypasses without making a longer lower mount. I didn't want to go any lower.

Thanks! I'm really happy with how it turned out and still looks somewhat stock if you didn't know any better. So far they ride good I need to test them out on a trail soon!

Awesome, glad it worked out for you. That extra 2" from my 12's looks like resulted in A LOT more work for me dealing with the lower mount. No issues with the bypass tubes rubbing at flex?

after reading and asking you questions, thats what made me go with 10". I didnt want the lower mount lower than it already is and i dont have a body lift so my options were limited.

No rubbing that i found when we cycled it. about 2.5" on the tubes to tire.

Did some snow wheeling this weekend. Had a blast, everything handled like a champ. Was really impressed.

Only damage was because i didnt install my bump stops in the rear. Pinched the flares out a bit.

The start of my spare tire swing out. Gonna alter it a bit for my liking. Going to use boxed tubing in place of those bars and change the latch style. Little things that will clean it up a bit and make it more my style.

Seat removed

Friend grinding the edges of the brackets

You can see our cuts on the lower bend here

Hit it with a hammer to flatten it out, can also see our second cuts on the outer most bend on the closer bracket. Farther bracket is flattened as well.

Test fit to make sure thats enough

left is original, right is the one we cut and bent (huge difference)

Little welding to sturdy the brackets and make it right, also welded the top cuts after picture.

Bore out the mount holes a little and tape up the side panel to trim. Used washers on the seat bolts to cover the bigger bore.

I taped and then cut the side panel with the dremel and a disk.

Closer look at the bracket now

Installed, you can see where i cut a little too much off. I also sanded down the burs/edges from the dremel cut. The picture makes the edge looks a lot more noticeable.

Thank for the info on this,

I found these too and it seems like it may help as well.

Looks like a simple install too.

How are you liking the Cooper ST Max compared to the Toyo AT's you had previously?

Honestly I love these Coopers a lot. Really happy with the noise, wear and looks over the AT2s. AT2s were a great tire but these have really impressed me.

I swapped out my methods today for some SCS wheels.

Thanks. I was wanting to change it up a bit since I've had them on for a few years. Took a little leap with the bronze but I'm happy with how it contrasts with the blue.
