hi, I am new to the site, very hard to find proper info from suppliers especially when I dont know what I am looking for. I have 2005 120, and I want to put a three inch lift or there abouts on it. I also want to put a 33" tyre/ wheel combo. The rims are 17x7 stock alloys, the tyre I am interested in is the BFG KM2, the supplier however has advised me that they dont make a 17" in the 33. He advised that I go for the 16" x 8" wheel.

can you tell me what modification I might have to make if I was to go for this size of tyre, 285/75/16 ?
also what offset should i be looking for so as not to have any rubbing?

any advice would be welcome

so not much happening with my 120, just a few little things here and there.

our baby girl is now 8 weeks old and looks like i can get back into the wheeling side of things.

D4D 120, that looks awesome, I have a few questions for you.

what size lift did you put on?
did you lift the body?
are they 33" s?
Did you have any gear ratio issues?

Mine is a Lexus GX470 (US spec 120 series)

I did the Iron Man lift
2 x Total Chaos UCAs, these are for a Prado 120 so the FJ UCAs fit
2 x Iron Man 12710GR front adjustable shocks
2 x Iron Man TOY056C front springs
2 x Iron Man 12682GR rear shocks
2 x Iron Man TOY056C rear coils
2 x rear FJ upper spring cups (GX does not have spring cups or perches)
2 x custom fabbed lower spring perches/ramps for rear axle

No body lift
33s (285/70R17 Duratracs)
No gearing issues (I have a V8 petrol so lots of power)

From stock I think it went up 5.5 inches in the front and 6" in the rear (stock + 98k miles)

No, I measured from wheel center to fender, not from the ground.

He has 33s, only 1" additional ride height over stock (31"). 35s would provide 2" more ground clearance over stock.

Hi, i have a 2004 Prado, and I want to know how much of a difference is between the std suspension and the OME medium kit.

I want to fit it with a bullbar and under vehicle protection. We tow things from time to time and I dont want the std suspension to struggle with all the extra weight. We mostly use it in poorly paved roads and light/thick gravel.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Do you happen to know if the SC made by TRD for the Fj will work with my Prado ?
