Default Green Ridge, MD 10/18/09

Going out to Green Ridge this weekend if anyone is interested. Coming from north of B'more and hoping to arrive there around 10-11am. So far looks to be MD4runner014, nship, and myself. Chime in if interested in meeting up.

Well if you are coming from Bmore it is about the same amount of time to go to GWNF which we have scheduled already for that weekend. Just a thought.

Here is the link to it. It is in the planning section right next to this one. Me and Jeff (JAM07Sport) are going for the the entire weekend to the George Washington National Forest in Harrisonburg, VA (Oct 16-18..this weekend). We are planning on camping and doing some night wheeling on Friday night. Roams001 was planning on hitting us up as well if he takes delivery of his SAS build, but I am not up to date on that so not sure if he will be able to make it. I know nship is from PA and you are from Bmore so from where you guys are located it is about the same driving distance. If you are interested just PM me and I will give you my cell so you can meet up with us.

I guess it's what, 3.5 hours from Bel Air? Hmm, looks like a very nice place. I just hate travelling in Virginia like I'll get the plague.

nship lives by the MD/DE border. Looks like he might be going to Greenridge solo this Saturday as I've gotta do a balljoint job and front half shaft replacement on MD4Runner014's rig. So we were planning on running around on Sunday. Where exactly is the 'start' for the OHV trails there?

yeah sorry i got nship confused with another member. I bought spacers off of him so I should know. The trails at both places are very similar in difficulty from what I hear. I have never been to either one personally though. We will probably be coming back early Sunday though so I don't think our plans match up. Maybe next time though. Have fun!!

Wish I paid attention in here before I posted Greenridge. Never heard of GWNF, now I do. We'll probably stick with what we know and do Greenridge to be safe. Next time around you all go to GWNF send me a shout and I'll try to scrounge up some folks to do the trip there. Would look forward to meeting more T4R owners in person!

Take Greenridge and multiply it by 100 for size add int he fact that you enter one place and exit another. Never see the same thing twice and there is a dealership that will let you wash your truck off and put it on a lift to inspect for damage before you leave. That would be the diffrence between greenridge and GWNF. Greenridge is nice I have been there but GWNF is much better. Jeff is right about the drive it is not that much farther and you could camp sat night and drive back sunday. Just a thought.

Are you just doing the 18mile OHV loop?

Yeah, we're going to do the 18 mile trail. I'd rather do GWNF for the first time with someone that has already done it. Just a peace of mind thing for me.
