Default **SOLD** FS: Metal Tech Rear LT Kit - Bay Area, CA

SOLD

Howdy,

Up for sale is the Metal Tech LT kit, which was taken off of my 4th gen 4runner. My 4runner is not my DD, so the kit has only seen around 10k miles and is in great to excellent condition - I'm not one to bash on my stuff.

I'd like to sell this all as one package, and I would prefer a local pickup.

jk...I changed up the suspension b/c of the limited up-travel.

Unloaded, I had about 3.25" of shaft exposure, which dropped down to 2" when the back was loaded with a spare tire, camping gear, jerry cans on the roof rack, etc. For the trails I mostly run, those two inches were not enough to make the ride pleasant, so I swapped out the entire rear for Icon CDCVs and Radflo springs.

The ride feels a little smoother, the rear doesn't lean as much in turns, and I went from 3.25" to 6.5" of shaft exposure (but the bumpstops stop at around 5"?). I did lose the massive amount of down-travel, but I rarely needed it. Overall I'm happy with the outcome, although I have yet to really fiddle with the different dampening settings.

Glad you're happy with the new set up. Could have just swapped the rear coils for the heavies.
