Enjoy the build, what tires are you going to run on it?
The wheelwells on the 4Runners are not the biggest with such wide axles, so it may be a bit of fun when lowering the suspension. Similar the clearance by the engine bay for the axle may be limited when lowering. The steps is probably a good call for easier access, as I don't think it will be able to go as low a the Super Duty in the picture.

At any rate looks like you guys are having fun.

I'm not afraid of going where no one has gone before, I suffer for Muscular Dystrophy this 4Runner being on air bags I can lower the ride hight to get in then lift it to ride hight to drive and I'm going to set up AMP Research electric steps to for more easy of use. Life is to short to drive a stock daily driver its fun to drive why drive something boring lol

I like the ''SEMA Show truck" look if you don't, you don't have to follow my build it coast you nothing lol

I am a self respecting toyota guy I run a toyota shop lol

I have my other projects ''9'' of them to wheel I can have nothing nice lol

I'm not sure why the axles need to be so "Heavy duty" to go to the mall........Sorry, we're a little different here in the desert southwest! More function for a purpose over lift just because.
But, your truck, good luck!

The axles are lighter duty they Kingpin Dana 60s and people use then with a 22R that make less then 100hp. I'm not going over board or anything the axles are going to be very reliable.

Soflo Diesel has the files for the Super Duty axles and these are the axles they make lifts for

I Like the 22x14 Specialty Forged Wheels lol, that orange 2016 Tacoma is using 22x14 Specialty's with a 37'' tire I'm going to be running 40s they will look a lot like the 20" Trail Ready Wheels that are on my 3rd gen 4Runner plus 1'' on each side of the tire lol

There will be plenty of side wall, I don't like the loper mud tire look thats why I'm running 40s

This could be a lot of fun. I will be subscribing to this thread.

I have questions about the wheel wells. I know the front axle can be moved forward, to allow for the larger tires. That should be easy. What are your plans for the rear axle and fender wells?
