Default 2002 Prerunner

My wife has a 2002 Tacoma and the fender flares are in bad shape. I see $400+ for factor replacement. Can't talk her into undercoating, not sure if any spray paint will look good or last. The worse is the gas tank flare and it is parked outside at work all day. any ideas?

I spoke to a Car Detail guy and he told me to use Olive Oil. It Works! Wife is happy.
