Default Wheel Offset Questions for GX470.

I've built two Disco II's, so not new to builds, but on both, I kept the factory wheels and had 285/75R16's SSR's on the last one with no issues running front and rear custom bumpers.

Now here I am with a 2005 GX470, and I have little to no knowledge of wheel offsets. I want to run 33x12.50x17" SSR's, and I know they will mount fine and run fine on the factory 7.5's, but that doesn't mean they will work on the truck even after the lift when tucking, etc. I don't really like the idea of spacers.

I'm considering going to aftermarket beadlockers, but have no idea what all the backspacing and other numbers mean, or what I need. I want something that will work when combined with a lift, but without doing the bumpers right away. I do want to add bumpers later if all goes well, but I want to see how I like the truck and its performance with bigger tires and lift before I start soaking in heavy $$ into bumpers and such.

Can anyone tell me what will fit? I'm guessing aftermarket FJ wheels will work, but not sure of the offset situation? I really like the look of these Procomps, and they have beadlocks...

Can't give you a precise answer but this thread helped me understand:

And you mention bead locks, were you trying to get true bead locks because most of the aftermarket are fake, just for looks.

That's a great thread. Looks like to run 8" wheels I need a maximum of 4" backspacing and it might even be safer to go 3.5-3.75" (if I can find them) with 33x12.5x17 tires to allow for the 11.9" wide tire vs. the stock 10.7" tire.

And yes I was looking at procomp beadlocks but I don't think they make anything with backspacing to fit. I might go Procomp Rock Crawler Steelies though. I just need to check the weight.
