Default Back online

Had a DNS issue and it seems the site was down for a week or so.
Didn't see too many complaints though, which brings up my other thread from a while back as to the value of keeping the site going.

Hi Andries,
Noticed the site was down but did not know how to let you know. Still a lot of very usable info here and it would be a shame to lose it.

Thanks,

I noticed it was down and was bummed, thought you pulled the plug.

I decided to try logging on again tonight because I need to find the post on how to replace that HVAC recirculation thing that starts clicking , behind the glove box.

I'd gladly contribute a small donation if you decide you want to collect $ to pay to keep it up. You should not have you go out of pocket.

I creep on here every so often. An idea for you Andries. If you ever decide to put this site to rest, we can always create a group in Facebook. Though I rarely go on there too. LoL. Oh life is fun. How much does it cost to run this forum, if you don’t mind me asking?

Wish there was more activity here..... I stopped posting on FB about my 4Runner, seems when I did and mentioned I was GASP.... using Iridium spark plugs with ZERO issues vs using the copper that the truck was OEM with, people lost their poo.... Oh, and that was with about 98k on the clock when I went to the new NGK Ruthenium HX plugs and OMG again without issues.... LOL

Don't ever let this masterpiece of the Internet go!! If we have to pony up some $$ to help you keep it up, I'm pretty sure everyone that is worth a damn will!! Besides, where else would I post up our Mojave Road trips?! BTW....the Easter trip is up finally!!!

I know right!? OMG

I actually am trying out the NGK ruthenium hx plugs which have a dual tip vs a tip and the flat blade of the normal plugs. We shall see how well these wear, which claim to be better than the Iridium for life span.

LoL. Guess I’m not the only one. It was just a suggestion. I don’t really use social media that much these days, besides Reddit. I creep on this site from time to time, just to see what trips everyone has been on or planning. Hoping to hook up with you guy again one day. It’s been awhile and life has been crazy.
