Default ProComp Steelies

Has anyone put Pro Comp 97 series wheels on their 4runner? I just ordered them for my runner. I will be going later on in the week to get them mounted. They are basically regular black steelies but a bit nicer than the regular ones. They look something like this...(the pictures are not my rims)

Only thing is I have been looking through the FJ forums and people are saying they dont fit the FJ which means they probably wont fit my 4Runner.

why will they not fit? from what I read the bolt pattern and offset are ok, it could be the centerbore. alternatively, some 16" dont fit due to caliper clearance issues.

What size and offset did you get? I'm considering getting the same thing from American Racing, mostly for the offset difference...

I dont know of the exact sizing to be honest. Im going to get them later this week so Ill let you guys know how they fit. All I know is that the bolt patter is correct and that they are 17x8s. I went with the 17s because I have a spare set of Toyo ATs in 265-70-17s and caliper issues. Im hoping they fit. I was just curious if anyone else had fit them.

I'm only guessing but the hub size might be too small.

Hopefully the hub size will fit. Although that is one of my concerns right now...

My shop had called his supplier and it is listed as a part that "will fit" but i dont know if they only take into consideration "most" measurements or if they actually test fit them...

I looked at those when they first came out. They were a good price but the hub was for chevy or something. I decided not to get them. I hope they fit. If they do they would be a good option for a second set of wheels. They were only 69$ a wheel back then.
